About the Role

As an ESL Teacher at Yile Education, you will deliver high-quality English instruction to young learners using the McGraw-Hill Wonders curriculum. You will create an engaging classroom environment that promotes language development through interactive activities, games, and structured lessons.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons
  • Follow and adapt provided lesson plans and curriculum materials
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment
  • Use interactive teaching methods (games, visuals, phonics, storytelling)
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in training sessions

Student Details

  • Age range: 2.5 to 12 years old (PK–G4)
  • Class size: Maximum 12 students
  • Teaching hours: ~28 hours/week
  • Office hours: ~10 hours/week

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (any subject)
  • TEFL/TESOL certification (120+ hours preferred)
  • Native English speaker from one of the following countries:
    • United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa
  • Eligible for a Chinese Z visa (work permit)
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for teaching and working with children

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior ESL or teaching experience
  • Experience with young learners or early childhood education
  • Ability to create engaging, interactive lessons
  • Adaptability and cultural awareness

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: 22,000 – 25,000 RMB/month (based on experience)

Schedule
