About the Role
As an ESL Teacher at Yile Education, you will deliver high-quality English instruction to young learners using the McGraw-Hill Wonders curriculum. You will create an engaging classroom environment that promotes language development through interactive activities, games, and structured lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons
- Follow and adapt provided lesson plans and curriculum materials
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Use interactive teaching methods (games, visuals, phonics, storytelling)
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in training sessions
Student Details
- Age range: 2.5 to 12 years old (PK–G4)
- Class size: Maximum 12 students
- Teaching hours: ~28 hours/week
- Office hours: ~10 hours/week
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (any subject)
- TEFL/TESOL certification (120+ hours preferred)
- Native English speaker from one of the following countries:
- United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa
- Eligible for a Chinese Z visa (work permit)
- Clean criminal background check
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and working with children
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior ESL or teaching experience
- Experience with young learners or early childhood education
- Ability to create engaging, interactive lessons
- Adaptability and cultural awareness
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: 22,000 – 25,000 RMB/month (based on experience)

Schedule
- Standard workweek includes weekday and weekend classes
